Meet TJ Matton


TJ Matton has postgraduate training in mindfulness and body oriented therapy techniques and uses movement and other forms of creative expression to help adolescents and young adults verbalize emotions. TJ works with youth ages 11 to young adult. 

TJ earned her MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and holds Advanced Trauma Certificates Level 1 & 2 from the Ferentz Institute.  She is credentialed as an LCSW-C.

TJworks with adolescents using:

  • Mindfulness Techniques

  • Creative Techniques using poetry, art, movement and music

  • and other methods tailored to your child's situation

TJ Works with young people dealing with:

  • Anxiety & Depression

  • Perfectionism

  • Self-harming behaviors/thoughts
